Once the staple of dodgy home decor programmes, Mosaic is currently enjoying a cool renaissance.
But as everyone knows, you can’t just buy mosaic (that’s cheating), you have to do it yourself. And there’s no more stylish way to do it then by using smashed up pieces of vintage crockery.
You can have a go at fashioning your very own mosaic framed mirror at the Smashing Chintz workshop at the Arthouse in Brockley. Create a chintzy mosaic masterpiece from a stash of re-claimed crockery – or just bring your own.
The Smashing Chintz Mosaic Mirror Frame workshop is 45quid and runs over 2 weekends on Saturday 10th October 10am – 1pm and Saturday 17th October 2pm – 4pm or Saturday 21st November 10am – 1pm and Saturday 28th November 2pm – 4pm.
