Vintage enthusiasts flock to Goodwood

Ms Ooh La La et Anais had a fabulous time in Chichester this weekend, visiting the inaugural Vintage at Goodwood.  Mes amis, we have got beaucoup to show & tell...

For starters, let's whet your appetite with a photo gallery of some of the gorgeous dudes and dudettes that caught our eye...

Vintage at Goodwood street style gallery:

We were tres impressed with the amazing vintage attire, from Huggy's James Dean look, note the vintage Harley,  (may we have a ride s'il vous plait?) to
Mademoiselle Davenport's gravity-defying vintage rolls (they even stayed put whilst she rock n' rolled her way around the awesome Let It Rock tent-formidable!).

Thanks to everyone who let us take their picture- you were all tres jolie-even the boys, especially the boys!

And for those who we missed, check out the mega VAG Flickr photo gallery

Across the week we'll be sharing more footage with you, including our first ever vintage haul vlog (nope that's not French my darlings, it's the new fashion in blogging dontchaknow, think of it as a video all about vintage shopping, to excite & inspire you.

In the meantime, check out this video from our fave new band at VAG...they dress like the cast of Cry Baby, they rock like Elvis, we love 'em, ladies & gents we give you....The Caezars

Merci Le V.A.G.! x

Jump in the pool at Standon Calling

French Kiss Vintage is excited to hear that DJ/podcast duo Houdini’s Picnic are to conduct a very special water themed transmission by the swimming pool at the Standon Calling Festival. The Hertfordshire festival boasts a glittering line up of bands and some added extras, inspired by this year’s murder mystery theme.

Revellers can take swing lessons with Swing Mon Amour, watch classic crime flicks with Lexi On The Run, enjoy some night-time Yurt storytelling or kick back at the speakeasy bar. Forget looking disheveled; at the on-site hair salon you can get a haircut, get your hair washed or get your barnet straightened. Then you can visit the on-site tailor, Anna Popovich or get a fancy dress makeover at Bizarre Bazaar before accessorising at Gabby Young’s Gabberdashery shop.

And after all that beautifying it’s time to undo it all by jumping in the swimming pool and enjoying a good old fashioned underwater disco.

Standon Calling takes place 6-8 August at Standon in Hertfordshire. Adult Weekend Ticket £95. Visit standon-calling.com
