Rude Britannia Goes On Tour...Ohh Err Matron!

Tate Britain's Rude Britannia exhibition is going on tour this Summer & will be coming to a festival near you soon...

At Camp Bestival they'll be some informal lectures & film on the the art of humour, whilst at The Big Chill they'll be all sorts including life drawing inspired by Benny Hill & the like!

If like moi you're a fan of all things Carry-On you'll love this exhibition which is housed at Tate Britain, & charts the evolution of British Comic Art, encompassing drawings, sculpture & film from the 1600's through to modern day.

But its not all about bums and boobs y'know, there's some fantastic political messages behind the satire, here's a video by Gerald Scarf, Sunday Times' Cartoonist to explain more:
