The exceedingly fashionable and clever folk who go by the name of The White Blackbird have dreamed up yet another fabulous event to rival the sophisticated slumber soirees and fantastical dinner parties that grabbed them headlines last year - and this one's guaranteed to banish away those rotten January blues.
‘Tweed' takes place on 22 January and is being touted as a thoroughly British tweed-tastic party adventure where guests can revel in classic countryside pursuits with a twist. It all takes place at rambling country pile Stoke Place, located just 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of London.
Highlights include Lady Grey’s dance troupe, marshmallow toasting by the roaring open fire, a Whisky Tasting and Piano Sing-along session with Lily Farling, a 'Confessional Portrait Booth', Murder Mystery Treasure Hunt, Vintage Secret’s Dress Up and Photo Studio, a spectacular Midnight Feast of Gigantic Game Pies and Pasties, Fruit and Cheeseboard and a Ballroom with a twist!
Time to dust off those heirloom jewels, slip into a sumptuous silken gown and grab a suitably jaunty hat for a country house soiree like no other.
Tickets for Tweed are £35 and can be purchased from: stokeplace.co.uk.
A return coach trip ticket is available for £15.00, tickets in advance only via ticketweb.com. Coaches will depart at 6.45pm from 24 Hanover Square London W1S 1JDand will return at 3am
